BMC's Cadel Evans damn near won the race today...but a strong effort by the Caisse d'Epargne team put their man Luis Leon Sanchez onto the top of the podium. Sanchez wins Stage 5 of the Tour Down Under. Evans ends up 4th today, but he's one of four riders within 21 seconds of overall leader Andre Greipel, with just one day of racing left in the 2010 Tour. George Hincapie is 30 seconds behind Greipel, and Lance Armstrong is 47 seconds back. Look for the BMC boys to turn themselves inside-out to try and snatch victory for their man Evans on Sunday. But first things first. Here are all the highlights of Stage 5 of the Tour Down Under, including an interview with Evans, in the following CycleTo video. |
