Last week, we asked CycleTo readers to give us their honest opinions on the new team uniforms of the 2010 BMC pro cycling squad. ...and you gave us an earful. Opions ranged from, "Looks pretty badass" to "Cadel looks like he has a beer belly"...OUCH! The consensus seems to be good...most people seem to like the new design, and the new colors, of the BMC kits. Check out some of the better comments, below. I much prefer the White and Black kits. Way more stylish. - Graham Page ----- Totally digging the black and red; looks sharp. The retro styling is all the rage this year for good reason - it looks great! - Joseph Farran ----- Love that color combo. Looks pretty badass. - Evan Miller ----- If you want an honest opinion: I think the red and black looks too similar to some other teams, like Caisse d'Epargne and Silence Lotto. I think the white looked more distinctive. - Philomena Lapsley ----- 2009 shirts where the best ever. - Wim Calant (Belgium) ----- Another vote (I hope) for the new BMC kit. I am looking forward to the jerseys becoming available for purchase. - Andrew Priest ----- BMC kits in 2010 are the best, '06 second - Peter Ramirez ----- Quite frankly they are the only good looking kit out there this year. I guess the economy has made teams cut their graphic design budget. - Kelly Edwards ----- My take on the redesign of the kits: I think the Black and White was a great look - clean and edgy. The red this year is a stand out and will be easier to spot BMC riders! - Donna Beyer (Chad's mom) ----- Design is better than last year but it is a definite downgrade from Assos. You can see from the TDU pics that the cut of Hincapie clothes isn't half as good. Cadel looks like he has a beer belly. - Jonathan Reinfeld ----- Black and white is much better looking! The Red kit just does not cut it. Assos W, Hincapie L. Sorry George! - Tom McAfee ----- Color doesn€™t matter much, does it ? But geez€¦It€™s hard to beat Assos! - Gail Shaw |
